  1. Composition Response: The photographer does have a moving subject frozen but they also have other possible subjects that are blurry. There is no rule of thirds on the main subject; but on the minor subjects there is. In the frame of the photo there is a teenage boy, who appears to be jumping, with other unidentifiable objects in motion next to him. The background of the image does not detract due to the fact that the image has elements of selected Black & White with color. In the background there are trees, a field, and a few houses. I think that if the secondary subjects were in focus like the primary subject, along with the editing, it would be better.

Fast Shutter Speed Response: The photo does freeze a moving subject. Yes. Higher ISO could make the picture sharper. The shutter speed was fast enough to capture the main subject in motion but the minor subjects were blurry because they were going too fast; Could use a higher ISO to fix.

Focus Response: In focus. The image isn’t totally sharp because of the minor subject being out of focus/moving too fast. Change the ISO. The correct part of the image is in focus.

Lighting Response: The image is properly exposed. Not too bright, dark, blue or yellow; and the white balance is okay. It is visible and doesn’t need to be retaken based on lighting. No changes in the lighting is needed.

Photoshop Response: The image seems to have come from the camera but definitely has elements of Photoshop in it. For instance the black and white alongside the color makes the image obviously different. I believe the image could be cropped a little bit more but looks alright as-is.

Overall Response: The image seems to tell a story of an excited young man who threw his lunch in the air due to his excitement. I believe the image does give a specific idea or it can allow the viewer to relate to a time of excitement of their own experience. The mood is definitely
